Manage Scripts should show and allow sorting based on the modification timestamp of scripts. This would dramatically simplify the process of indentifying recently worked on scripts especially in cases where hundreds of scripts are maintained and the developer goes in and out of many scripts quickly to perform edits.

Yes, this would be a nice feature.
One hurdle is FileMaker marketing and that features like this are not that “sexy” for release candidates. I agree with you 100% and features like this allow us to create better solutions, faster and raise the overall perceived value of FileMaker as a development platform.
Heck, I’d even be happy if this feature (and many little tweaks to the development UI) were FileMaker Advanced only features.
Another related feature would be line numbers on the script itself.
